Terms and conditions

1. Free entry to the competition is limited to one per person. There is no limit to the number of times you can enter the competition when you order work. When we receive your essay, your name will automatically be entered into the prize draw. One entry per 1,000 words. 10,000 word dissertations will be worth 10 entries into the prize draw.

2. Multiple entries made via survey will be disqualified. Excessive multiple entries from the same email account pertaining to be representative of friends and family may also be disqualified at the judges discretion.

3. No automated entries or third party entries are permitted. Although, email address can be shared. If there is any doubt as to whether an email address is shared, free entry via survey may be limited to one per email address.

4. Competition is open to UK students only. Proof of student status will be required to claim prizes. This competition is open to college, university, open university and distance learning students.

5. Prizes can only be sent to valid UK addresses. Prizes will be sent via Royal Mail and will need to be signed for.

6. Winners will be contacted by telephone or email. Winners' names and the names of their universities (or other educational facility) will be listed on this web site. However, you will have a chance to choose how your name appears. In accordance with the data protection act, no other details will be passed to any third parties without prior consent.

7. Winners names will be chosen at random from a sack. The Main prize draw will take place on 30 April 2006. 1 x first prize. 1 x second prize 1 x third prize. 1 x forth prize. 5 x fifth prize. A further draw may take place in June. Details will be announced.

8. Winners will be selected every week to receive discount vouchers throughout the year of 2006. You are not valid multiple entries are entitled to multiple prizes.

9. Prizes are as stated and no cash alternative is available. Judges decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

10. The MP3 player may not be the same as shown. Minimum specifications of the MP3 player will be 256MB, enough for over 50 songs. Please note an MP3 player is not the same as an iPod.

11. Free gift is limited to first 500 valid entry forms.

12. Free month of typing can be claimed for one full calender month of the winner's choice anytime until 31 December 07. One month's notice must be given to claim prize. (Unless prize is claimed immediately for month for May '06).
