Effects of climatic change on global warming

Climatic change is the significant variation in the atmospheric conditions over a certain period of 30-35 years. This, in turn, causes global warming due to the nature of worlds atmospheric temperature. Global warming is as a result of most human activities which mostly depends on the use of toxic substances that releases carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. These gases absorb more heat in the atmosphere which later causes adverse effects on the ecosystem and the surrounding environment.

Climatic change results to increase in the global temperatures. This has effects on both human beings and the surrounding environment. It causes prolonged droughts there the soils lose water and hence cannot support the growth of crops. It, therefore, result in a lack of food, resulting in death. Also, wildlife is affected as they wholly depend on water, droughts even clear forests which are their habitat. Drying of rivers affects the water animals and the surrounding community that depends on fishing as their source of income.

The climatic change increases the moisture content; therefore, the atmosphere tends to hold more water. This is because global warming increases the rate of evaporation and therefore there is a chance of heavy rainfall which will result in floods. This will affect both human beings and animals as it will lead to both death and displacement. It also raises the sea level due to strong winds like hurricanes which is a threat to the surrounding local community mostly in the coastal areas.

Climatic change results in heat waves which affect human beings. This is due to the revolution of the sun around its orbit exposes some parts of the world to radiant heat. This causes heat stroke as the bodies of human beings is unable to cool more effectively. Also, livestock products lower their yields, for example, low milk production in dairy cattle.

In conclusion, climatic changes have adverse effects on global warming which is as a result of high temperature, heat waves, and evaporation. This affects mostly is a result of human activities and natural causes. This shows that global warming is one of the significant challenges that is facing the world today.
