Effects of neoliberalism urban restructuring in Thailand

Neoliberalisation means merely being given the free will to do something. In this case, neoliberalisation of urban restructuring means the free will to change the appearance of the structures such as buildings in a particular place. Neoliberalism comes with its negative and positive effects. As much as change is inevitable, some changes have a very significant impact on our lives and also our existence. Some people can cope with the changes while are others cannot deal with the changes. Some changes come with adverse effects whereby human beings can do with them; this affects them significantly economically, socially, academically and also religiously. Other variations on the other side are easy .as matter of fact; they come to improve the living standards of the human beings. Urban restructuring has affected many lives positively and negatively not only in Thailand but also in all places all over the world. This work, therefore, discusses the effects of neoliberalism of urban restructuring in Thailand.

Neoliberalism of urban restructuring has beautified the urban centers in Thailand. As compared to the olden days, the current structures in Thailand are more modified and beautiful as well. Is difference is brought about by the changes in technology whereby constrictors or engineers can get models of modern houses from the internet? This has improved the sceneries in Thailand making them more attractive. This as well has brought about tourism since people go to see the beautiful structures. In the olden days, Thailand was not as attractive as it is today.it is, therefore, evadable that neoliberalism of urban restriction in Thailand has beautified the country largely. As a matter of fact, the buildings in the urban areas of Thailand are so good that even some other more developed countries of the world. It is, therefore, velar that this aspect has changed Thailand positively. Henceforth we can openly conclude that it has affected Thailand positively.

Neoliberalism of urban restructuring has brought about capitalism in Thailand and has done away with communism and socialism. Communism means that everyone or instead the majority has the free will to use the resources of the society as a community .communism also means that the funds of the city are distributed according to the varying needs of the people in that community. This makes people have a peaceful coexistence and also minimizes the many fights and disputes in the community. Socialism and communism bring people together unlike capitalism which puts people apart due to their different standards of living. Capitalism is characterized by private ownership of property, allocation of resources through the ability of the people and also individualism whereby the rich people lead their life separately from the less fortunate in the society. Neoliberalism of urban restructuring has brought capitalism in Thailand in the sense that those living in the functional structures are found in the urban areas while the poor are still living in the less developed areas of Thailand, thereby dividing the people of Thailand.

Neoliberalism has also lead to the economic stability of the urban centers of Thailand. This is due to the increasing job opportunities that have been realized due to the restructuring of the urban areas in Thailand. When buildings are constructed and made in such a way that they are improved in terms of the new technology such as the existence of electricity and things like fire resistant materials etc., economic activities increase significantly since the conditions favor those economic activities. Also, some economic activities require the availability of space. When the urban areas are reconstructed, a lot of spaces are created hence housing a lot of business activities. This has affected the people of Thailand positively and has increased their living standards. We can conclude that the neoliberalism of urban restructuring in Thailand has both positive and negative effects. For example, Ghana, Burundi, and Kenya
