Efficiencies Syndrome The Efficiencies Syndrome Method For the purpose of this assignment, you are a healthcare administrator (it could be of a hospital, nursing home facility, any health care facility of your choosing). Identify 3 possible indicators of productivity for the health care facility and how they are measured (suggestion: we have covered chapters in your textbook that identify some; it may include operating room efficiency, use of doctor’s time, etc). Identify and explain efficiencies syndrome and how it could influence the productivity in the 3 areas you identified. Explain what the human aspects of the “efficiencies syndrome” are and how they influence the healthcare facilities productivity and worker morale. Explain how health care administrators can avoid the ‘efficiencies syndrome’ at their hospital. Why is this important for you to know in your prospective career field? Guidelines: The assignment will be approximately 1-2 pages in length. The assignment should be completed in Times New Roman font size 12.
