Data Collection

The research approach was followed using the inductive method in which the researchers will begin with the observation which will be used to produce theoretical approaches and conclusions from the research. The inductive approach takes into consideration of the samples to produce the qualitative. However, the weakness in the proposal and determination will be based on the smaller observation which therefore provides the reliability of the results in question. The data collection method and tools used in the research which is obtained through in-depth interviews and unstructured interview in which the aim is to select the participant opinion regarding the research topic. Personal interviews involve direct contact between the two participants (Interviewee and Interviewer which will reduce the cases of non-response rate.

However, the interviewers will be required to have the skills necessary to carry out the interview successfully. Additionally, unstructured interviews will provide adequate flexibility in terms of room for the conclusion and the flow of conversation which is derived from the research questions. However, one risk that is imminent during the interview is the deviation from the research objectives and aims.

Additionally, the data collection will involve the use of a semi-structured questionnaire which serves as a guideline to the researcher.  Most of the question were prepared with the intention of guiding the interview towards the fulfillment of the research objectives. However, extra questions may be posed during the interviews. This implies that some of the structured questions were included in the interviews.

The research uses a systematic random sampling approach in which it focuses on the families, students, and children from diverse background and develops the sample of the study under discussion. There exist dependent and independent variables have a direct influence on the results. Thus, need to give a complete assessment of the values in regards to how the sample need to have filled directly via the questionnaire distribution and the measures are required to test the instrument for the low-income families for Kentucky. In order to verify the accuracy of the data with a common analytical, statistical tool such as SPSS 2.0 to assess the reliability, efficiency and the validity of the data in the required standard format.
