After exploring the website, what information were you most interested in?

Primarily, being the goal of the Gun Violence Archive (GVA), the information was shocking with reports involving children with ages as low as 0-11 years. The description provided the actual number of victims from gun violence within the country. This is an indication there has been arising gun violence in the country despite the increased and enhanced policies to stop, regulate and control gun violence in the states. The numbers of deaths are so high with regards the year is a few months old. The number of teens who fall victims as well as those who die surpasses all the other groups. Therefore, this is an indication there is a high involvement in gun violence among the youths. Additionally, there is a relatively higher number of officers involved in gun violence incidents thus the increased cases of deaths and injuries through the shooting. Home invasions have been leading cause of gun violence in different states where they respond as an act of defensive mechanisms against the attacks. Therefore, there has been increased cases of gun violence in different states with various reasons being the primary cause where the victims are reported dead or injured.

Is there anything that surprised you about some of the statistics, victims, incidents, etc.?

I was surprised to read that the data is always updated daily from 2500 credible sources. Therefore, the details are more accurate and updated. Additionally, there being a large number of youths involved is a threat to future society. As much as may teenagers being involved in gun violence, it is a threat to security and future generation. Through increased death trolls in the states, there could be an extinction to some communities. A threat to security is an economic break down where investors are much more not willing to risk their resources to a nonstable economic trend.
