Hypochondria causing illness anxiety disorder develop mostly when overexposed to disease information

Case study paper will be 4-6 pages in length, double-spaced, 12 point font, and in APA format. Requirements: 1. Students will pick one diagnosis covered in the course as well as a theoretical standpoint from which to write about this diagnosis. Special attention should be given to how the theory explains the origin, manifestation, and treatment of the chosen diagnosis. To do this, students will create a hypothetical patient whom they will diagnose and discuss from the chosen theoretical standpoint. Students can choose from some theoretical standpoints (psychodynamic theory, cognitive-behavioral theory, and biological theory for example) from which to formulate their case. 2. Students should focus a section (at least one paragraph) of their formulation to each of the following areas: limitations of the theory, multicultural issues, and stigma. 3. A short reflection regarding any areas, subjects, or parts of the class that have felt particularly or personally impactful to the student should be added at the end of the case study. This section should be written in the first person and from a personal/reflective standpoint. 4. At least one source other than the text and lectures
