This annotated bibliography focuses on providing an in-depth review of scholarly sources that relate to the effects of the Civil War on present day logistics. Leaders in the Civil War employed the use of logistics for the successful outcome of military operations; hence, it provides a basic understanding of how modern world organizations apply logistics in their operation.
