Most of the successful companies worldwide appreciate the importance of a sufficient quality improvement (QI) approach.Although the firms may operate different departments namely, public sector, health departments, and finance departments, they still require a QI plan to run successfully.One of the most common improvement techniques in companies is the Lean Six Sigma (LSS).However, emerging trends such as globalization pressures increased quality demands from clients, and the need to solve multifaceted issues, require companies to use better QI approaches to remain competitive globally. Consequently, organizations have to focus on several issues to improve the quality of LSS that they use.

Primarily, companies should improve the level of strategic thinking when they solve pertinent challenges. The approach will help them to implement viable policies that will enhance the probability of succeeding in the future. Another significant matter that firms should advance is to improve holistically (Antony, Snee, and Hoerl, 17). Likewise,they should expand the available resources, management systems, and continuous improvement techniques to enable them to solve any emerging challenges.Additionally, organizations need to improve on how they minimize the impacts of human variation (Laureani and Antony, 13). They should work on refining techniques like visual management and fault proofing to eradicate human error and its consequences. Accordingly, organizations should develop a more effective LSS technique if they want to remain successful in the competitive business world.

The success rate of a firm depends on the type of quality improvement method it uses. Likewise, most companies prefer the LSS approach. However, companies should improve that technique if they want to survive in a dynamic and competitive business environment. The improvements should focus on better strategic thinking, holistic growth, and reducing human error. Similarly, companies should work on the three sections because they will have a better chance of succeeding in the future.
