This is a literature review research paper, it needs to be at least up to 60% literature review, and the rest to be an argument. It is regarding the theories of development, and their attempts in explaining the contrast of wealth amongst nations. I am not a clear on a thesis yet, but a possibility is: to date, not one of the schools of thought offers a complete and holistic explanation or answer explaining the disparity amongst nations. I need someone who already has a background in the field and the main theories, namely, modernization, dependency, and world systems. Also, to be familiar with the works of prominent scholars in the field, like Rostow, Frank, Amin, Cordoso, Wallerstein, and others. As this is a literature review, at least 20 sources must be used. Chicago style bibliography and footnotes are necessary. The paper is actually 15-20 pages long, and I plan to include my own work, if and after the 11 page lit. review is done.
