AT&T Inc. is an American international corporation that deals with telecommunications. The company provides mobile telephone and broadband services in the United States as well as in other parts of the world. Currently, the company is amongst the largest telecommunication companies in the world. It is imperative to note that the company’s success has been as a result of strong organization culture that can respond swiftly to both positive and negative environmental forces (Driskill & Brenton, 2011). The success of the company is likely to continue in future if such culture is to be maintained. These and many other awards and recognitions have been key to the company’s success.

The company has also enjoyed several individual awards. For instance, Randall Stephenson, chairman and CEO of AT&T, has been honored with the “Promise of America” award from America’s Promise Alliance for making an exceptional difference in lives of America’s youth. APA’s signature program is the Building a Grad Nation Campaign to mobilize Americans to achieve a 90 percent high school graduation rate by 2020 (Davenport, Bensoussan, Fleisher, Bensoussan & Fleisher, 2013). These recognitions have been critical to the success of the company. Employees and other stakeholders have derived pride from such credits and felt part and parcel of the organization’s success.

It is also worth to note that the company’s website has also been a strong observable artifact. The website has well-described values that guide the behavior and define the company’s culture.
