INTRODUCTION

Canada has been ranked among the world’s best place over the years. Apparently, in 2017 he was named by the US News as the second best place in the whole world. English and French are Canada’s official languages. A high percentage of Canadians take English as their mother tongue while 23% French as their first language. The rest have more than one first word.

There has been a little change in the population growth of Canada; 1% rate per year. Most recent changes in the growth of population are on the provinces and territories levels. There is a likelihood that the changes will continue in the future and would bring along differences to the composition of a regional and provincial population. Natural increase, migratory increase, international and interprovincial increase in the migration is the key factors of population increase in the territories and provinces (Wilson, 2018).

CANADIAN LIFESTYLE

It’s their way of life which may involve both leisure and work activities. In terms of their values, attitude, events, and people`s interest that reflect how they interact and live with one another. It’s a state that is varied in so many aspects; climate, landscape, and people. Their values include values like pride, respect for one another, diversity and equality. Through these value, Canada has turned out to be a peaceful place, a secure and friendly place to stay. Kingston, a city in Canada, is considered to be the happiest city, in recent years it had won many awards. In terms of education, Queen`s University is a place to explore its beauty and boost your skills in language (Breau, 2015).

It has been known for its high life expectancy, access to good education, low rate of violence and low crime. The climate in Canada is varying as anywhere else in the world. It’s not just a frozen land as many views it. Although summer lasts for a short while than winter in most parts of the country, summers are hot. Snowfalls are experienced, and rainfall is either light or moderate.

DEMOGRAPHIC TRENDS

In Prairie Provinces, the population has grown faster than its national average. In recent year Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba have been the three provinces of Prairie. The population growth of these provinces has been higher than the nation`s population growth over the past few years. Alberta is having the most top increase in population since 1997 among the regions while Saskatchewan has experienced a decrease in population since the year 1997 to 2003. In the year 2003 Saskatchewan population growth remained zero. There has been a natural negative increase in Canada, but this varies from one province to another. Due to the population aging in the next two decade, there would be a decrease in the factors that lead to a natural increase in the growing population. Scenarios on population projection have suggested that the death rate is likely to increase faster than the birth rate in a couple of years (Sheth et al., 2017) This would be experienced in the specific province the increase in childbirth will be limited by the low fertility and the small population in the women giving birth. A more significant change in recent years is the increase of international migratory. Some provinces attract many foreign immigrants than others this leads to a different population in the country. A difference in terms of ethnocultural diversity and age structure among the people.

CONCLUSION

The changes in age structure and population growth has led to needs such as an increase in infrastructure, political influence, and social programs in some different region. Some current trends will impact many aspects of Canada, and such elements are linguistic diversity and ethnocultural diversity.
