Intrapreneurship refers to the act of practicing entrepreneurship principles within a larger organization (Tietz & Parker, 2012). Besides, it entails creating new ideas with the intention of creating values within the existing company.

First, intrapreneurship is best enabled by being innovative. Innovation plays a critical role by enhancing growth within the organization (Pearce & Robinson, 2013). The company can create an enabling environment that allows employees to innovate thus improving productivity. Moreover, managers can decide to give employees the freedom to participate in corporate innovation thus motivating them to increase performance and finish tasks ahead of schedule.

Second, intrapreneurship is best enabled by providing employees with skills through training. Training helps employees to develop fresh and creative thinking, brainstorm new ideas and learn social skills (Tietz & Parker, 2012). Third, an organization can enable intrapreneurship by modeling an entrepreneurial mindset. An entrepreneurial mindset can be fostered in an organization by connecting employees with innovators and other creative individuals. The company can decide to team employees with high-level executives who have experience in the organization (Tietz & Parker, 2012). Older leaders in an organization can provide employees with advice and mentorship.
