In most cases, the death of a close individual or a family member leaves them with no one to run to or seek guidance from. The first step is allowing the individual to go through denial and isolation. Denial and isolation enable the individuals to slowly adapt to the happenings of the situation primarily because of the death of a close individual. Counseling for such individuals can only be done when they go through anger and depression. It is only at such a point that an individual can allow to accept the situation and thus take counseling.
