On those social media accounts, there are specific celebrities who take about their specific mood disorder. Because of those celebrities, our youth idolize they don’t feel as different. A celebrity with such a huge following can possibly they the light at the end of the rode for some children and adolescences.

Not only do social media sites help in aiding those with mood disorders but there is certain help site as well. With those help sites, there are others who in fact suffered from the same mood disorder as others or there are counselors, therapist, and psychologist who collaborate together to help provide the best knowledge and coping strategies. Dealing with depression is not an easy battle to conquer with these help sites it provides the necessary information for not only the person going through these emotions but others around to help as well. Those who do not have a mood disorder are often ignorant of how that person really feels and may view it as negative other than being a person who can aid. With the help sites, it can possibly link to virtual chats to converse with others who are having the same issues they are having. With technology being so advanced there are certain movies and television shows that can display the very mood disorder others are battling with. In the famous cartoon Charlie Brown, Charlie suffers from social anxiety. Charlie often strays away from social events or ever conversing with others in fear of rejection. Also, Helga Pataki from Hey Arnold suffered from bipolar disorder. She would be memorized by Arnold and suddenly she would dislike him. Her shift in moods and personality often confused others. She had no control over those moods and most times no explanation. Chuckie Finster from RugRats suffered from GAD, generalized anxiety disorder. He feared just about everything. Whenever Tommy thought of a new adventure, Chuckie’s’ first reaction was to worry. Lastly, The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, there were nine characters who possessed mental illnesses. Through each episode, you were able to see how each character battled with their disorder and most times overcame. The most important message from The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh was they stood together as a community and helped one another through their difficulties.
