Human Beings and the Environment

Human Beings and the Environment

Human beings have not been good stewards of God’s resources despite being given the responsibility to take care of the creation. The human being has self-interests at hand, instead of protecting the environment, they are destroying it and making it hard for other creatures. The bible clearly states that the original plan of the creation was a responsible and peaceful coexistence between the human being and the environment. From the look of the things that have been happening towards the environment, they have turned into destroying the environment instead of taking care of it has required by the creator.

Among the areas where human beings have not acted according to the wishes of the creator is in terms of pollution to the environment. Pollution has increased over the years making the earth inhabitable for different creatures (Mather, & Chapman, 2016). The pollution has happened in different ways which include destroying the forests by cutting down trees, and the consequences are reduced rainfall. Many animals and people have been affected that used to live in the forests because their habitats have been destroyed. This is against the intended plan of the creator where the man was given the responsibility to take care of the environment.

The other form of destruction of the environment is in the way of pollution. Pollution occurs in various forms and affects every creature that is alive. Human beings continue to engage in activities that pollute the environment instead of taking care of it(Mather, & Chapman, 2016). Irresponsible behaviors are making it hard for people to live on the planet. The health used to be habitable, but now animals are facing challenges to live on the planet.

In conclusion, human beings are supposed to engage in activities that do not destroy the environment. People need to stop the activities that damage the environment but instead take care of the environment. Responsible use of natural resources should be embraced.
