Issues at the workplace

Introduction

Society and industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) is an organization set to investigate different topics that affect the workplace. The best research method that is applied by the organization is the correlational method. With the correlation method of research people affected by some issue in the workplace will be observed and be compared to those that have not been exposed to the same situation.  Some of the variables for the research include dependent and independent variables (Perrigino, Matthew Benjamin Dunford, and Kelly Schwind Wilson 623). Dependent variables, in this case, refer to the employee output while independent variables relate to the issues around the workplace.

Research question

What are some issues that occur in the workplace? How do they impact the working efficiency and productivity of the employees?

Work-Life Balance Interventions

One issue that impact the modern world workplaces is the point of balancing between family time (life) and work. To ensure that nothing of the above is compromised, the work-life balance interventions according to me is the most effective approach that should be looked into. Through the high response and with the improved of technology much work that otherwise would require you to be at the office physically will be solved thus having someone operating some business from the comfort of their home. The above intervention has promoted a sufficient balance between work and life.

How to deal with the work-life balance issue

Work-life balance is being adequately sold with the organization I am working with currently. Our school has come up with only learning known as e-learning approach. In the e-learning platform, everything is done online from the comfort of the home. Assignments are posted online, and the students respond to them (Perrigino, Matthew Benjamin Dunford, and Kelly Schwind Wilson 600). In case of any question, the students send emails or calls which an instructor responds still from the comfort of their home. The above has made it possible for effective interaction with the family members unlike in the past when one could spend much time with the students rather than their families.
