Am planning to conduct a job analysis of a surgeon in order to understand what it entails and the activities that they engage in. My main job is reviewing the job title. The analysis will be broad in such a way that people who will read my report will get a full understanding of what the job entails. The primary objective of the analysis is to get a better understanding of the brain surgeon specialists as a career.  The analysis will require gathering as much data as possible regarding the job description and understand the various activities that the brain surgeons are involved in. I will also understand how the job of brain surgeon relates to other types of jobs that work in conjunction with the brain surgeons.

The plan to do the job analysis of brain surgeons will begin by finding out the qualifications that one need to have in order to become a brain surgeon. The surgeon has unique skills that other professions in the health sector have hence I will find their skills in the analysis (Thompson, S. (2016). The planned analysis will also include the skills that the surgeons have that make them able to do brain surgery. I plan to further my research to include the list of the most successful brain surgeons and what one needs to look at when hiring a brain surgeon. The analysis will show whether there are unqualified brain surgeons in the country and how one can identify the unqualified ones.

The job analysis will also involve understanding the failures that exist where surgeons have failed in conducting successful surgeries. The analysis will determine whether there are high possibilities of surgeons failing in their duties that are assigned to them. The analysis will give a clear picture of brain surgery as a career and the activities that they engage in.
