There is a wide range of controversial topics under research in the education field in modern society. One of these contentiousthemes is that of inclusive education. Inclusive education is the art of facilitating the active participation of disabled and able students to learn in the same classroom. Over time, research that has been undertaken by various scholars in the education sector has found out that adapting and modifying activity helps to ensure successful inclusion (Mittler 22). Such a strategy also plays a critical role in overcoming various challenges in the education sector. These barriers have been hindering stakeholders in the education sector to achieve their set goals. Educators are tasked with the role of understanding learning differences that are attached to students. According to Mittler 77, students have different learning styles, thus making it difficult for educators to understand them both in the long-run and short-run. With that in mind, it is clear that in contemporary society, students and teachers are under immense pressure to achieve better grades.

It is vital for educators to adopt a strategy that will facilitate them to overcome and ensure successful inclusion. Research indicates that implementation of inclusion in classrooms calls for educators’ commitment (Mittler 18). However, the determination is worth because of the positive impact that such a strategy will bring over time. The core importance that is attached to the implementation of inclusion into classrooms is the provision of quality education to all students. It plays a critical role in the eradication of any form of segregation among children, especially to those with disabilities (Mittler 34). This provides a platform that facilitates efficient classroom and school operations which is critical in modern society.
