The answers of the interviewees varied based on the perceptions of people toward leisure. However, I noted that the answers shared a common perspective that leisure was a sense of freedom control creativity and enjoying new experiences. The initial responses had also explained leisure as one of the instances that allows a person to have comfort. Most of the interviewees further expressed the view that people often choose the ways that the program should be spent.

The meaning of leisure was presented as the free time that is spent with the aim of achieving comfort. Contemporary world has it that leisure is a free time when an individual spends it by forgetting to the internet watching and communicating with friends through social media platforms. However, this was not the meaning as provided with the interviewees between the age of 30-35 years. However, the contemporary sense was similar to the answers provided by the interviewees between the period of 18-24 years. Therefore the definition varies based on age. The variance could be attributed to different understandings bases9on how different groups of people spend leisure time.

Having had a background of ghost runners and Ghost heads in the coursework, my understanding of leisure differed due to broad concepts of entertainment. The most important aspect about ghost heads is that it presents relaxation as one of the instances that provides an opportunity for people to act uniquely and explore new skills. On the contrary, the interviewees’ perspectives majorly focused on one area, and that was freedom and ability to have an extra time out of the regular activities. However, when focusing on the perspectives of respondents between the age of 18-25, I noted that most of them had a more obvious means of defining and making the concepts more understood based n the contemporary world and dynamic aspects linked to technology, and minimal time to encounter leisure from a broader perspective.

Some of the interviewees expressed Csikszentmihalyi’s flow concept. For example, the definition provided by those interviewees shows some similar context that tends to emphasize and deeply explains on leisure. Besides the description of leisure had many aspects of developing an appropriate understanding of freedom and ability of a people to take control of their activities. As demonstrated by most of the teens, most of the descriptions showed that they have focused and overreliance on technology internet and social media at the expense of defining the actual aspect of leisure. On the contrary, most of the elderly interviewees were consistent in describing leisure

The outcomes of leisure are mostly constructive and positive. As described by most of the interviewees, the process provides an opportunity for talent identification and development of new skills in sports, music arts, and other fields. Thus such outcomes similarly reflected those covered during the coursework.

From the interviewees’ point of view, it was evident that leisure is required in society. It is through leisure activities that people discover talents and develop new ideas aimed at impacting society. Besides, most of the people are so engaged at work and studies thus limited leisure time. Therefore, most of the interviewees similarly viewed that leisure is required in the contemporary world. Moreover, the issue of internet and social media addiction was raised by some of the youths, they then outlined that more leisure was required to address the significant problems such as the rising antisocial behaviors among the teens.
