Making work visible is an informative book which enlightens people on time management. The book has a strong message on how team managers should focus on quality delivery. On page 39, she says “busy people, however, do not signal productivity- derived values do.”  Notably,this implies that one may concentrate on allocating works to their 100% working capacity. Many people spend much of their time reacting to unplanned work and unexpected requests. Staffs will also spend much more time waiting for a new job yet the previous task is not complete. Prioritization helps in managing time efficiently and assigning the right capacity on a given task. Thus, work in progress has adequate personnel and experts and therefore high-quality deliverables. Otherwise, inferior products and works are achieved when everything is priority one. Customer complains will also increase on incomplete work and delayed achievement.

“If your wallet was stolen, you’d notice. If your security badge to your office was filched, you’d know it when you arrived. According to the author, people realize when their wallets are stolen and yet they cannot note when a precise factor- time is stolen. She notes that time is one of the most costly factor stolen.
