Mission and Vision for a Residential Cleaning Service Business

The new business that I intend to venture into is an efficient residential cleaning service. The name of the company is Riviera Cleaners. Our mission is to use environmentally responsible products to provide customized residential cleaning services across the United States. Also, we aim to satisfy our customers by being consistent and deliver high quality services. Some of the cleaning areas include bathroom, carpets, upholstery, hardwood floors, tiles and grouts, area rugs, windows, kitchen, and bedroom. We will also provide post-construction clean-up and air duct cleaning. The guiding principles of the company include the following. First, the company will consider customers as the center of all activities. Riviera Cleaners will hire professionals with expertise in meeting the needs and expectation of the customer. Second, with responsibility, the company will jointly commit to protecting the environment by using eco-friendly products. Third, the company will aim to constantly improve the services offered by investing in new technical processes. Fourth, the company will demonstrate integrity in all actions and delivery of professional services.

Our vision statement will be: to be a dominant residential cleaning business in the region. The company vision statement is significant since it tells the purpose and values of the organization (Covello & Hazelgren, 2006). I will assure the company vision is reflected in what we do by tying individual performance to the vision and values of the company. The executive team will communicate the strategic objectives of the company to employees so that they could understand their roles. I will connect the daily activities of each employee with the objectives of the company. Next, the executive team will measure employee performance based on the overall strategic objectives.

I will ensure that the company vision remains viable and binding by communicating the purpose and values of the company to employees so that they could understand their roles and achieve the desired goals. Using sufficient channels to communicate the company visions will help to increase the business momentum (Covello & Hazelgren, 2006). Second, I will provide awards to employees that best exemplify the company vision statement. A committee will vote on individuals with exceptional performance and whose actions epitomize the values of the company. Third, I will hold meetings and forums to improve employee engagement and satisfaction so that they could implement what was discussed and agreed.
