  1. Realism theory assumes that human nature is selfish, international relations have the pursuit of war rather than cooperation in cooperation in conflict resolution and that states prioritize national security and state survival. From an individual perspective, Hitler is the only person who lends German to war against other nations hence caused World War II. Thus human nature is bad. According to the theory, German is the prime cause of the war as it prioritizes on state interests to cooperation, failed to adhere to the rules of Versatile Treaty making other nations uncomfortable. Besides, the league of nations was unable to bring power balance, which resulted in war.

Collective security is a security arrangement in which states try to prevent war by agreeing that security of one is to state a concern for all in the system hence committing collective response to any breach of peace. League of Nations was created to effectively deal with disputes among nations as well as safeguarding the borders. It was also aimed at preventing an outbreak of any other war after World War 1 as well as encouraging each of member countries to reduce its armaments leading to the peaceful coexistence of states.
  3. From an identity perspective, countries were free to adopt whatever identity they wanted. This self-determination resulted in differences in culture and believed leading to cultural glorification, leading controversy, and confusion. There were difference and conflict for state ownership due to the differences in perspectives of communist, socialist, racists and liberalists. Each state was determined to construct its identity as an actor. This resulted in the development of powerful nations and weak ones. According to this perspective, German was the cause of World war II through its racism nationalism. Adopting a racism approach to identity, German believed that they deserved the land which had been taken from them during the world war I; hence they stirred the World War II
