Order-in-flight Meals

  • Primary Actor: Passenger

Description: The passenger places an order from the three options after indicating whether they are vegetarian or vegan.

Pre-conditions: The system is connected to a power source, and the display is turned on. Additionally, the system is configured to accept the inputs

The flow of Events:

    1. The user chooses a meal from a menu containing three meal options
    2. The user indicates whether they are vegetarian or vegan
    3. The user then specifies a meal depending on whether they are vegetarian or vegan as mentioned in Step 2.
    4. The user selects their meal of preference from the meal menu.
    5. The user selects from the drinks menu
    6. The user selects from the combo deals
    7. The user confirms the order
    8. User quits the system

Alternative Flow of Events: 

    1. The user may accidentally press a wrong button, and on realizing so, they should hit the backspace.
    2. The user enters a wrong order and wants to go back to the main menu.
  1. Post-condition: Order has been made that goes to the kitchen for processing.
    Assumption: User is familiar with how to enter values through screen interface and has a general idea why the inputs are being provided and what is expected out of the system.
