INTRODUCTION

How many people are aware that TV causes children to develop aggressive behaviors? Well, the world is teaching children to imitate aggressive behavior from television shows, music and video games (Gerbner, 2018). It is an element that influences the behavior of children permanently.

Thesis statement: Television violence is the primary cause of aggressive behavior among children.

BODY

  1. The effects of television exist
  2. The society today has allowed children to develop aggressive behaviors through television music, video games, and shows.
  3. Children spend most their time watching television now days
  4. Television violence is also a form of entertainment
  5. Most of the children who watch TV for a long time develop insensately to pain and the suffering of others
  6. They show little or none effort to intervene when others suffer
  7. Limited ability to call for help when they are under problems
  8. Children who watch television often are lesser aroused by violent scenes such as murder.
  9. Children are likely to imitate violent behaviors from television
  10. Children became less willing to engage in other activities because they want to watch tv all the times
  11. Children’s shows contain more acts of violence per hour (Alexander et al., 2018).
  12. Other children develop fear from the world around them
  13. There is the feeling that the world is such a mean place to live
  14. The world is a violent place to live
  15. Children develop aggressive behavior against their peers
  16. Children begin to behave differently after watching violent content from television and in most cases they listen to no other person
  17. The children can quickly start a fight with others

  1. Disobey any conventional rules

  1. Parents should watch TV content first before allowing their children to watch
  2. parents should point out bad behaviors to their children from the video
  3. Parents should restrict the viewing of any harmful acts on television
  4. Restricts children time watching tv
  5. Encourage sports and education among children

CONCLUSION

Television allows children to develop aggressive behaviors. For instance, children who watch television all times can engage in constant arguments and fights. Parents should encourage their children to participate in education and sports.
