Scope and Purpose

The purpose of this progress report is to highlight the strengths I have gained as a business writer in the course of this chapter. The memo will also illustrate elements regarding rooms of improvement or additional work, and the challenges faced while addressing some artefacts of the section.

Progress

Since the beginning of the just concluded chapter, I have made significant progress regarding articulating and addressing business concepts in writing. The section’s exercises have played significant roles in ensuring that I am a reliable and up-to-date business writer. The first exercise was vital in developing platforms that are relevant to addressing clients satisfactorily. This exercise also proved to be essential because I was able to look into the issue concerning audiences that should be considered when addressing customer-related matters. The second exercise was also crucial in ensuring that I mastered some of the communication challenges within an organizational setting and how they should be addressed. Lastly, the third exercise enlightened me on the ethical responsibilities of an organization concerning confidentiality and privacy of information.

Additional Work

In the next chapter and its exercises, I will aim at developing at least one research topic regarding the previous tasks. This will be crucial in guaranteeing that the past experiences are not repeated in the next exercises. The additional work will also be essential in improving my proficiency as a business writer.

Challenges

While engaging the exercises of the previous chapters, I faced one major problem. This concerned specializing in a convergent business facet while most of the aspects are interrelated.
