Scrum at My Work Place

Complex product development is managed by scrum. This is a framework that is used to address technical adaptive problems while at the same time productively and actively delivering products which are of the highest possible quality and value. This framework gives a room for improvement of a product by providing a relative efficacy for the management of the product and its development practices as well (Mollahoseini et al., 2018)

Scrum framework is anchored on six core principles. The principles include self-organization, this solely focuses the workers who give their best delivery when they are self-organized, something which leads to a better team buy-in as well as shared ownership, and an environment which is creative enough and conducive for positive growth and innovation. Collaboration is another principle; this mainly is focused on the three significant facets related to working as teamwork: awareness, articulation, and appropriation. It also lobbies project management as something which is a shared value creation process with people working together and interacting to deliver the highest value. Empirical process control is the next principle, this focuses on the core philosophy of Scrum based on the three main ideas of transparency, inspection, and adaptation.

Value-based prioritization is another principle which is critical in the Scrum framework; it highlights the focus of Scrum to deliver maximum business value, from early in the project and continuing throughout. , on the other hand, is the principle which describes how time is considered a limiting constraint in Scrum and used to help effectively manage project planning and execution. Time-boxed elements in Scrum include Sprints, Daily Standup Meetings, Sprint Planning Meetings, and Sprint Review Meetings. Finally, the last principle is iterative development which defines iterative development and stresses on how to efficiently manage changes and build products that cater to the needs of consumers. It also delineates the Product Owner’s and organization’s responsibilities related to iterative development.

The Scrum framework can be adapted for individual success personally now and in the future. It helps an individual to be able to control their workflow, create a seamless working process, and prioritize the most critical tasks (Hoda & Muguresan, 2016). This can be done through a number of ways. As an individual, you should do what you can use what you have at that moment. This will help in the full utilization of the currently available resources as well as having the resources achieve the most desired results. Always have a constant self-reflection, this helps in taking stock on whether there is an individual growth or setback. It offers a great time to introspect your role as a human and what things are limiting you as well as those that bring out the potential and productivity in an individual. Always work towards clearly defined goals, they should be short term goals in order to cover a larger ground, within a short duration. Finally, always remember to work and plan in sprints.

As a real estate market analyst, the Scrum framework will be pivotal in designing business strategy as well as have a team working on sprints to produce effective and market-ready products for the clients. This will also ensure the work done by the teams aligns with the organization’s needs and goal as well as its long term business strategy. Scrum framework, therefore, is very pivotal in the growth of any business as well as designing and execution of its business strategy for the long haul.
