Simply Christian: Why Christianity Makes Sense

Simply Christian: Why Christianity Makes Sense

5: GOD

The Christian story is right about the identity of God and the identity of the world. The identity of God comes with the voice that no one can hear but an echo. As a result, many people only make the general assum[ptions which do not point directly towards God.  The proof of the existence of God does not even come from the Bible or the words of the Christians.  The Christian faith can however not give the full explanation about the belief in god. This section also addresses some of the reasons why people believe in God and why these reasons do not explain the belief in god. There are those who believe in god because they are yearning or looking for justice. The world is full of just the experiences in the 3orld about feeling safe and only is one of the reasons why some people foo, low god. The author gives the option of pantheism. This shows that god and universe are one and everything is existing because of god. Faith and the word of god have also compared o whispers in this chapter. They are like the shoes that people hear but do not know the source. Many people believe that go is this great being that hey cannot understand where the sound or the echo is coming from.  The relationship with God is as a result of the beauty that people are looking for, and no matter how great it is, it will eventually lead to death.  Even though the author states that the echoes in the world may not be proof about the existence of good, they can be used to look for something that that is not related to science. The modern western culture also does not guarantee the operations of the whole individual. In essence, this chapter shows that the existence of God does not have to be proven in the same manner as the other scjh=cientific theories. Just like everything has nop proof, faith and the existence of God can take the same path.

CHAPTER 6: “ISRAEL

In this chapter, the water talks about the story of Israel and why the story is vital to the Christian faith.  This is the story that relates to the process fo going away from home and then having the ability to come home once again.  The chapter focuses on slavery and the exodus asds the two different characteristics.  Exile and restoration can be used to explain the story of Israel. Every day that he Christians or the people of faith get away from the ways of God, they are sinning. Therefore they are enslaved. They need the intervention of God that they could come back and get restored. This is the story that many people can relate to.  Through repentance and the grace of g9d, the people x can always come back to god. The real exile that the people got from God was at the point when the human kind sinned in the grdenm of eden, and they were expelled from the gardemn. Therefore, they left the presence of God. What followed was the ability to try and redeem the people from exile.  The hope of coming home is also the basis of Israel. The Israelites were taken to the exile, and they had o find ways of coming back. Through the intervention of God that they need, they are saved from these dangers of the world. After taking people from the bondage and the sons, they have faced they are restored. This means that lord id doing the recreation a fresh from the other bondages. It also becomes essential that the people can realize the efforts that are done by the  Lord Jesus in restoring the faith and the people to install.  Jesus saves people from the bondages of satrurn.

, CHAPTER 7: “JESUS AND THE COMING OF GOD’S KINGDOM”

The author addresses  Jesus in this chapter as the person by clarifying the known ideas about Jesus and what Christianity is not.  The author discusses the three commonly used themes that are seen within the modern churches and Christianity in general.  One of them is that Christianity is not about moral exemplar. The author states that Christianity s not about being ignorant about God and therefore looking for more information about good or a new way that people can use to go to heaven after they have died. Instead, Christianity is all about the fact that we are the lost people and that someone has to come and find us. Our ways of life and in the quicksand and therefore there is someone whom we are waiting for to rescue us. We are consequently dying, and we have to be helped a be given a new life.  God is doing what he said he would do from the historical perspective through his sone Jesus of Nazareth.  We have to get to know Jesus who is still available for everyone who wants to meet him (Oakes, 2007).  This is the key for all the Christina they have to believe in. In Jesus Christ, the Christians and the people meet God through humanity.  The author also referred in the chapter to the letter that Paul write to the Corinthian that states that the body is the temple of God and that God needs the entire world in the church. Therefore, the kingdom of God is at hand. Many people think that the kingdom of God is in the future. They believed that there would be something I the future. However, they ignored the existence of Jesus and how effective he is to the world.

  1. God’s Breath of Life

IN THIS CHAPTER, THE AUTHOR TAKES THE DIFFERENT APPROACH WHEN IT COMES TO THE PARALLELS THAT AVE BEEN DRAWN FROM THE EARLY CHURCHES. THERE ARE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE NEW LIFE AND THE EARLY CHURCH.  In most cases, the resurrection of Jesus after he was crucified and betrayed by these people became the starting point and the most powerful section in receiving power.  The transformation creates the quite promising future and one that is different from what the people have been used to.  The sin and darkness have no future. The sinners will eventually fall due to their ways ((Oakes, 2007).  The resurrection leads to the inclusion of the holy spirit. Before Jesus left, he commanded the holy spirit to guide the church.  The holy spirit is mainly the personal presence of God. God had to be left with the people. Those that have the holy spirit have the presence of God in them. They understand that the basis of all this is the resurrection of Jesus.  God’s breath of life came when Jesus defeated death and could breathe a new experience. Concerning the worship of God, the holy spirit is the key. Also, the holy spirit is the one that combines and binds the two in the form of heaven and earth. The holy spirit is also responsible for showing the people how they can relate the past with the future. The breath of life that God gives shows people how to connect between the past and the future. The resurrection of Jesus also shows people the ability of God and the life that he gives people. God has the power to take away life and to give it. Through him, Jesus died and resurrected after three days.

  1. Living by the Spirit

This chapter shows the Christian faith and what it takes to live by the spirit.  After the holy spirit has established its role in human life, it then works within us.  It is going to show the people on how to connect the heaven and the earth. The author demonstrates the methods that can be used in connecting the heavenly power and the power that exists in the world. In Jesus, everything is hidden. Through Jesus, all the treasures, the gold and all the goods things from God are hidden. The, therefore, is the road and is the only way that can be used to get this good life and the unexpected benefits.  Through the spirit, the salvation mission of Jesus Christ is continuing.  When Jesus came to earth, he started the mission of saving the people. This is the work that the holy spirit is taking over after the death of Jesus. This means that through the spirit, the people can get good thongs from the Lord Jesus Christ.  The enhanced beauty of the world only comes from the spirit of God.  This spirit also frees the people from the taglines of sin. Through the spirit, the people are given a relationship that is renewed. The bonds that had been broken are given a chance as well (Oakes, 2007).  Apart from the fulfillment, there is justice in God that comes from the spirit.  The image of God is in Christ himself. Through Jesus, people get to understand God. Through seeing and believing Jesus, the people have already seen the operations and the happenings of god. Besides, the relationship with Jesus gives the people extra relationship, and the spirit of God transcends to the people through the belief in Jesus Christ.
