Part I

Of all the personal core value and principles, vision and mission, I believe one of the utmost significance of the program relies on its alignment with DAP guidelines. Developmentally Appropriate Practice, also abbreviated as DAP, is a teaching technique that emphasizes more on the child’s development and learning. The program requires one to familiarize with real early education. From the above explanation, I feel that my target values potentially go hand in hand with the expectations of the DAP (Talan et al., 2011). A good example is that, as a leader, I have come to learn that honesty and being responsible are the most significant virtues a team leader could possess to manage the group and various situations effectively.

DAP has a framework design to influence the establishment of optimal learning in a child. It calls up for much dedication towards a driving force of studying hard to keep on assisting the youngsters. It makes me believe in myself as competent enough to manage the program’s administration effectively. Besides enriching efficiencies in program administration, DAP requires me to have still a spending plan to achieve the well-being of the curricula (Talan et al., 2011). As such, to succeed in the same, I have to accompany the children at all time, keenly observing each while embedding them in a similar realistic system as well.

In attempting to modify the institution’s system to accommodate DAP’s implementation, the teacher has a requirement of continually familiarizing with what is appropriate from a cultural perspective. Having this in place makes it easier to implement the program in the system in various ways, and this includes acknowledging what a child says or undertakes. Through positive attention, they get to understand our gratitude (Talan et al., 2011). Implementing DAP also requires one to hearten effort and diligence rather than evaluations and praises on a child’s actions. Therefore, the program also calls up for modeling of attributes, techniques in responding to challenges, and setting an example for the children.

Part II

The teaching staff has training in pediatric first aid as a significant communication guideline for an institution, and this includes making sure that the team familiarizes with the rationales behind the practices. A good pediatrician is one who delineates the purpose of training and the desired results. It does heighten competency in real life situations (Corvey, 2015). Infants should be made to lie on their back during sleep. Majority of pediatricians in the U.S find it rightful for the baby to position on their back during sleeping sessions. Every stakeholder including the mums needs to acknowledge that backward placement limits the prospects of a     Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, which is commonly known as SIDS (Corvey, 2015).

A regular hand washing and routine clean up sessions and sanitization of the facility’s surfaces is also a component of the program. To execute this, it calls up for a compelling articulation of specific conditions necessary for the mission to become a success. It is an undertaking that requires vital human force, and description tools they need (Corvey, 2015).The program also possesses vivid techniques when it comes to responding to illness, including how to decide whether a child needs to go home and how families get notifications. As the program’s administrator, I would handle such situations by associating the real world scenario and preceding aftermath. For instance, what if you hold the child back at school after a slight accident and its condition later worsens?

The program acknowledges snacks and meals as nutritious, and foods that undergo safe handling in preparation and storage as well. Every staff has to always keep food and beverages in rather cold and dry places (Corvey, 2015). By ensuring that food in stores is safe, there is a decline in the chances of a child tampering with an unauthorized food item and might cause drastic happenings.
