The Moroccan oil clarify shampoo

Introduction

The Moroccan oil clarify shampoo is a hair product in the form of a viscous liquid used for hair cleaning. The shampoo also repairs damages in the hair that may be caused by heat, color styling and hair processes involving the application of chemicals. Therefore, the shampoo is used as a moisturizing agent for daily use and ensures, and the color-treated hair is hydrated effectively.

The Moroccan oil shampoo comprises of several ingredients such as Water, Argan oil, Dimethicone,Avocado oil, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, and Rosemary leaf extract. However, the essential element in the Moroccan oil shampoo is the Argan oil comes from the Moroccan Argan tree. The oil has been used for more than a century as a hair nourisher as it plays a critical role in softening and growing hair(Trüeb and Ralph 358). The reason behind the argan oil working is because it is comprised of essential ingredients such as fatty acids and vitamins which work faster on the hair by healing the damaged hair at a fast rate.

The Cocamide DEA is one of the very most harmful ingredients in the shampoo. According to a study by (Dias and Maria 95), the elements of shampoo such as Cocamide DEA has proven to be detrimental to the well-being. The Cocamide DEA entails coconut oil which is chemically modified and is used as a forming agent in the Moroccan oil shampoo is a known potential cause of cancer. According to a study by the Centre for environmental health, Cocamine DEA is a tragic cancer-causing ingredient used in the shampoos. The Cocamide DEA  in the laboratories through a reaction of diethanolamine with fatty acids obtained from coconut oils to come up with diethanolamine and the end product is then applied as a forming agent in the cosmetic industry to create a creamy texture in the shampoos. However, these cosmetic industries use more of the Cocamide DEA thus increasing the exposure of cancer to human beings polluting the environmentas examined by(Thomas and Ancy 238).

Sodium lauryl sulfate is also an essential detergent used in the production of shampoos. The Moroccanoil shampoo uses the ingredient in its production stages.  However, the cleanser robs the hair of its natural moisture. The sulfate elements in the detergent are responsible for causing the surface tension hence robbing off the moisture in the hair. The detergents bind with sebum and water thus creating a chemical reaction. When this occurs, and you rinse out the shampoo, the sulfate absorbs all the oils and residue with them. Finally, the detergents will damage the hair and make it more brittle. Moreover, the detergents will bring about allergic reactions to people who have skins that are too sensitive to chemicals. Most experiments carried out on human beings, and animals show that the sodium lauryl sulfate results into eye and skin irritations thus is also known as shampoo irritants.

The Cocamide DEA is produced by reacting a combination of diethanolamine and fatty acids from coconut. The Cocamine DEA is used as a forming agent hence obtained through chemical reactions. On the other side, the sodium lauryl sulfate is accomplished by preparing ethoxylation. The outcome of the chemical reaction products then converted to sulfuric acid which then is neutralized to sodium salt. Therefore, the sodium lauryl sulfate is obtained without the ethoxylation process.

During the acquisition of the detergents shampoos, there are many damages which may be faced both by the humans and the environment. This is due to both of the detergents being prepared through chemical reactions. During the acquisition of these detergents, humans are endangered to the effects of being exposed to chemical reactions. Once the chemicals are breathed in, the lungs will be damaged to a greater extent. Moreover, the chemicals can penetrate the body hencedamaging various parts of the body such as the brain and kidneys. On the other hand, the dangers of the shampoo ingredient which are chemical reactions on the environment rely on the amount, the concentration and type of the chemicals disposed to the environment.

The chemical products presentdangers to both the environment and humans asemissions of toxic substances tend to affect human beings and ecosystems. The human rights council confirmed that all the toxic chemicals and pollutants cause significant damages to human rights. The rapporteur on the implications of human rights of the management of environments and proper disposalof toxic substances and wastes covers the control and reporting on the human rights effects of these elements throughout their lifecycle such as production, handling, and disposal. The shampoo producers are aware of how they connect to human rights abuses through their output. For instance, workers welfare has to be keenly adhered to as the chemical reactionsshould not harm the workers. Therefore, the workers have to be provided with the necessary materials such as gloves which prevent them from damages by the toxic chemical substances. In the preparation of the detergents used in the shampoos, the companies have to take all the necessary measures and steps to prevent the violation of human rights.

The actual manufacturing of the shampoos poses great harm and danger to the workers working on them. The production may be explosive during the chemical reaction as several chemicals are mixed to produce the shampoo. An explosion of the toxic chemicals on the people working on them may adversely affect them. The compounds may cause skin cancer and skin irritations to the workers. The shampoo manufacturing pants also produce pollutants which tend to cause respiratory infections. Toxic pollutions when inhaled causes respiratory infections.

Moreover, during the manufacturing of shampoo, there has to be a test done. The physical testing is used to test for color and odor. The experiment is usually done to check if the shampoo will be useful as in the laboratory. This poses a great danger to the workers as spillovers bring about skin irritation and even cancer. Shampoo manufacturing is a source of the formation of a cancer-causing contaminant in water supplies which are water inlets for sewage treatment plants.

Conclusion

The shampoo is useful in the removal of unwanted dirt in the hair. Shampoos are mainly meant for people with problems of dandruff on their headsand people who want to clean their hair. However, there are shampoos which are made for use by animals as they contain insecticides and other treatment solutionsfor skin diseases and to control the infestations of parasites such as fleas. Despite this, shampoos are made up of chemicals which may be harmful. To prevent the effects of these chemicals brought about by the ingredients used in the manufacture of shampoos, some people use alternate ways such as vinegar and baking soda to avoid the effects of chemicals used in shampoos which make the hair greasier.
