Thesis statement one: Exploring the many factors of masculinity

The Dorian Gray has three main characters with each character having a different version of attributes in the picture of Dorian Gray that is written by Oscar Wilde. The three main characters include Dorian, Basil, and Lord Henry. The three characters struggle to a higher level, in recognizing their versions of the masculinity and using the social norms (Gray and Dorian). The three types of masculinity can be studied by comparing and contrasting them as well as identifying how they influence one another. For instance, do the three characters present the ideal of gentlemen? Also, do they fit into their context of social history?

Thesis statement two: The nature of beauty

As soon as the opening of the Picture of Dorian Gray takes place, the essentials and the certainty of the life of the grace becomes evident immediately. The green description of the surroundings and the full observations concerning the characters of the picture of Dorian Gray. Also, there is the appreciation of the beautiful objects, people all signifying the beauty of the Novel ( Kovalova and Anna p 30).

Thesis statement three: Roles of the artist and art in the society

The presence of art and artist brings an essential concept in the essay, although art and beauty are related, they also differ in some idea. When making the arts, there are rich materials applied to show the attractions of the essay. Among the essential things to learn in the art and artist is plotting. For instance, why and how does the portrait changes after some time? What is the importance of the final scene where Dorian has a strong belief in himself in stabbing the portrait? And in which ways does he kill himself?

Thesis statement four: Development of the characters and maturity

In the essay, some characters portray likable characters in them while others, their roles do not deserve to be liked. The reason being some characters are mature and so making them develop the characters in them while others their characters cannot grow since they do not show maturity in them. In the essay, while applying the psychological perspectives, is there any reason for Dorian’s perpetual immaturity? At what time and why Dorian got stuck? Could there be any evidence concerning the surroundings which is relevant in the building of the argument? What are the symptoms that show the delay in his development? With the situation can we conclude that Dorian is mentally ill? The theory of psychology will be necessary for solving this problem

Thesis statement five: The cleverness of selection of literary devices

While selecting people who fit in the picture of the Dorian Gray, the following were considered ( Quix and Mirja)?. First, what is the name and how the names bring a clear meaning of the character in the essay? Also, what are the simple literary devices that are used by Wilde in the building of the characters, plotting and the theme as well? The tools mentioned earlier are appropriate in the essay since they help in choosing the right roles that will make the essay to have a flow in it as well as having a good taste as the reader is reading.

Considering the main aim in the picture of Dorian as the theme, with the help of thesis statement I will be able to deliver the work as per the required as well as maintaining all the relevant things needed for the completion of the essay.
