Nevertheless, the most careful people add safes in form containers to their houses to ensure maximum protection of their valuables. The paper seeks to identify and explore the types of containers or safes for keeping home valuables.

Foremost, there is the diversion safe which is popularly known as hidden safe. Expensive and delicate valuables can be kept in this type of safes to prevent them from theft and damage (Heim & Angwin, 2014). The vessels or rather safes can be built in different depths of wall thicknesses to maximise the covered space. Arguably, some safes have concealed door hinges to provide anti-theft protection since they are not visible from a short distance. They are usually made up of fire-resistant materials to prevent fore from destroying the stored valuables. A container built in the concrete floor is the most fire resistant safe hence highly recommended for storing most expensive properties like gold. Despite the fire resistance nature of the fire resistant containers, most of them are not water resistant, therefore, may be filled with water from fire hosepipes. The contents of a fire resistant container should be kept in double zip lock bags to prevent water from destroying them.

Nonetheless, burglar resistant safe is a suitable container for storing home valuables. The container is rated the best since it protects the valuable content from theft since it is resistant to numerous breaking tools used by bandits. The demerit of this type of container is that it does not withstand heat like the fire resistant ones. A different kind of container is environmental resistant safe which is resistant to certain elements. For instance, a fireproof container may not be resistant to other factors like dust and water. The environmental resistant container is mainly designed to withstand rain to protect its content from destruction.

Fire resistant record protection safe is a type of container with insulted bodies, drawers and doors that safely store documents (Baker, 2014). The container protects the records from damage that may result from fire, fall from certain height and the impact of debris falling on it. The container also protects the valuables from theft since it is not easily opened or broken into. Room-sized fireproof vaults is a type of container sued for storing large volumes of home valuables. Heat sensitive materials can effectively be stored in this type of container. Since they are used for storing large volumes of valuables, most companies use the containers to store their valuables like confidential documents.

In conclusion, people should embrace the idea of home containers for storing their valuables. The move will reduce the cases of theft witnessed in our societies. Most of the containers are fire and water resistant hence reduction of damage in cases of fire accidents.
