Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) is a method that links provider payments together with the improved performance from the healthcare providers. The value-based purchase is appropriate care as it rewards the health care providers who are performing better than the others (Figueroa et al. 2016).  The current status of the healthcare system in the united states is moving towards rewarding value systems. There are several another service such as affordable healthcare act and Medicaid as well as Medicare access that have solidified the importance and the role played by the value-based payments (Gilman et al., 2015). Some of the tensions in the system have beesn realized due to accountability care and vallue payment services offered by value-based purchases. Value-based purchasing refers to a method where providers are paid some fee for their services with payments that are adjusted up today value the metrics and remaining the call element of the authorization(Mohammed et al., 2016). Ambulatory dermatology demands for daycare patients in the hospital where they are assessed diagnosed and treated so that we can go home the same day.  Value-based purchasing is crucial in this specialization as all the coasts have to be accounted for.my practicum experience in the ambulatory dermatology have seen the opportunities that could be used to enhance the performance of value-based purchasing programs such as trying to improve the measurement of quality and strengthening the design and sizes of the initiatives. Improvements and reducing healthcare disparities is the other idea that goes along with choosing the most appropriate composition targets.
