Being very competitive means trying to be the best at something. For example businesses are always competition with each other in the same market. We thus say that businesses are competitive since they all try to be the best in terms of profits and market share. If a business is not competitive enough it is pushed out of the market. So being very competitive means trying to beat others in something.

However, can-do is an attitude that one can do anything. For example a business can have a can-do attitude that it will be competitive in a certain market. Can do is being confident and resourceful when faced about a challenge. A can-do kind of person is a person who is confident and has the optimism that he/she will achieve something.

Winning at all costs means that whatever happens, winning is inevitable. It means that winning can do be avoided no matter the cost.
