A windshield survey was carried out on a community located in the middle of Pensacola, FL.The 6^th Grade children at YMCA after school care is the aggregate that was surveyed. The institution is situated in the center of Pensacola, FL and carries between 10 to 30 children every evening.The population consists of children between five and eleven years in an after-school program. YMCA after-school program is where children are supervised every evening after their school hours before their parents can later assume care. Such programs ensure that the children are kept safe and monitored while they continue interacting with their friends. I chose this aggregate because this group of children is prone to food contamination. Therefore they need to be taught about handwashing skills. Another reason is that they also have to be educated about proper cleanliness as a way of disease prevention.

A significant percentage of the houses within the community are quite old. Most of these buildings were built in the late 20^thcentury, between the 1980s and early 2000s (City-Data.Com, 2019). Despite their age, they are in good condition and are well-maintained. The homes have averagely good spaces and decent yards between them with some having fences around them. On the other hand, business has been built quite close to each other. Some of them are located in malls while others are stand-alone. The enterprises and stores within the community are very many and are of various types. They include thousands of food suppliers, retirement homes, hospitals, banks, automotive repair, and outdoor equipment suppliers.

There were no neighbourhood hangouts observed within the community, with the exception of the movies and malls. Most people prefer to go to the beach, which is outside the area. A few parks were seen within the city but most of them are poorly-maintained and still use old equipment. The safety in these parks is also not so good, and most of the parts have been converted to homes by the homeless in the area.

The transport sector is, however, outstanding, and one can navigate the area quite easily. City buses work throughout the week covering all the possible routes at low costs. However, the buses only operate during the day, meaning anyone that would want to travel at night will have to bear with the high fees charged by Taxis and Ubers (Data USA, 2019). The quality of the sidewalks and the streets is impressive, with very few observable potholes. They are all maintained well, but some parts of the roads do not have paths, making it difficult to walk past those areas. The people that can be seen walking around the community are either city and state workers, shoppers, pedestrians, or the homeless. According to Census Reporter (2017), the highest percentage of people in Pensacola are White (59.8%), followed by the Blacks (28.9%), Hispanic (4.6%), mixed race (4.3%), Asian (2.1%, American Indian (0.3%), and other races add up to 0.2%.

The community is clean, but nothing extraordinary can be said about it. However, there is a lot of old equipment that could be disposed to enhance the cleanliness. Despite some of the things looking a bit old, nothing has been demolished. The primary media displays within Pensacola are billboards. Most of these billboards display messages about unwanted pregnancies, prevention of STD, and some are about the attorneys.

There are places of worship for most of the popular religions. There are a lot of churches, temples, and synagogues within the area for any religious person. Also, there is a lot of service providers within the city to cater for any needs, whether medical, social, or recreational. Chiropractors, Dentists, and Surgeons are some of the service providers that can be easily accessed. There are two hospitals, Sacred Heart and West Florida, within the vicinity.
